A little background on Ecoastal Wear

We started Ecoastal Wear after waking up in the middle of the night with the idea of an Eco-Friendly Apparel and Accessories Brand. Living in Florida we wanted a coastal vibe to what we did, combining the two we came up with Ecoastal Wear.

We could have taken the easy road that seems to be the trend and go with drop-shipping and print on demand but that's not our style and wouldn't be true to our mission. We wanted this to be our brand, our apparel, our sunglasses, our accessories. We wanted to control our cost, our quality and reduce our impact on the environment whenever possible.

With drop-shipping the products are not able to be quality controlled before reaching the customer, and most of the time ship from China. Not that products made in China are bad, but it's difficult to verify labor conditions, quality of the products and shipping each product individually is disastrous on the carbon footprint.

We do offer some accessories made in China or other countries but we always buy our inventory, warehouse in Florida and quality check everything before shipping out. It just seems like a good way to ensure the product we sell meets our standards.

Now when it comes to our apparel, it's 100% made in the USA! It's made for Ecoastal Wear by mills and factories that we contract and shipped to our Florida HQ, quality inspected and printed in-house. Every shirt is printed by hand using the highest quality eco-friendly water based inks. Our screen process is as chemical free as possible as well. Everything we use is biodegradable and consumable when possible.

We are aiming to produce American Made and Organic apparel and bring the art back into printing apparel. Ecoastal Wear isn't just a brand, it's a lifestyle, a promise to our environment and a commitment to our kids that we care about their future.
